Account and data deletion

How to request it
- In the app, when cloud features are enabled: open Settings and choose “Delete account”, or use the Cloud Account card in Profile, then confirm. A Google-connected account asks you to sign in again. Guest accounts can also use this action. “Disconnect” is a separate action that keeps your cloud account and local progress.
- Without the app: email zangord.support@gmail.com and state that you want your VocabCross account and associated data deleted. You do not need to reinstall the app to start a request.
To help locate the account, include any VocabCross username or friend code you still know and say whether it was a guest or Google-connected account. If Google-connected, write from the email address used to connect it if practical. You may still contact us if you do not have these details.
Protect your account: we may ask for proportionate, non-secret confirmation before deleting an account to avoid deleting someone else's data. Never email a password, one-time code, access token, or identity-document scan. We will not require you to reinstall the app just to submit a request.
What the request covers
The request covers the VocabCross cloud account and associated profile, backup/synchronization, social, friends, challenge, and ranking data managed by Zangord. A username blocked after a safety review may remain reserved to prevent reuse; the reservation contains the blocked name and action time, without an associated account or report identifier, with no fixed expiry yet. We will respond about the request and explain if any other narrow legal, security, or fraud-prevention retention applies. Do not interpret an email being sent, or an in-app attempt that failed or was cancelled, as confirmation of completed deletion.
After an in-app deletion succeeds on the server, VocabCross asks Android to clear the app data on that device, including offline progress. If this reset fails, the app asks you to retry or clear its data in Android settings; a failed or cancelled server deletion leaves local data untouched. A request made without the app cannot remotely erase offline data on your devices. Clear VocabCross app storage or uninstall it to remove that data. Google Analytics, advertising, and optional Play Games data are also governed by Google's settings and deletion controls. Deleting a VocabCross account does not delete your Google account or Google Play Games profile.

Talebin kapsamı
Talep; Zangord'un yönettiği VocabCross bulut hesabını ve ilişkili profil, yedekleme/eşitleme, sosyal, arkadaş, meydan okuma ve sıralama verilerini kapsar. Güvenlik incelemesiyle engellenen bir kullanıcı adı yeniden kullanılmasını önlemek için ayrılmış kalabilir; kayıt yalnızca engellenen adı ve işlem zamanını içerir, hesap veya bildirim kimliğiyle ilişkilendirilmez ve henüz sabit bir bitiş süresi yoktur. Talebinizle ilgili yanıt verir, başka dar kapsamlı yasal, güvenlik veya sahtekârlığı önleme saklama zorunluluğu varsa açıklarız. E-postanın gönderilmesini veya başarısız/iptal edilmiş uygulama içi işlemi silmenin tamamlandığına dair onay saymayın.
Uygulama içinden yapılan silme sunucuda başarılı olduktan sonra VocabCross, çevrimdışı ilerleme dâhil bu cihazdaki uygulama verilerini Android'den temizlemesini ister. Temizleme başarısız olursa uygulama yeniden denemenizi veya Android ayarlarından verileri temizlemenizi ister; sunucuda başarısız olan ya da iptal edilen silme işlemi yerel verileri temizlemez. Uygulama dışından gönderilen talep, cihazlarınızdaki çevrimdışı verileri uzaktan silemez. Bu verileri kaldırmak için VocabCross uygulama verilerini temizleyin veya uygulamayı kaldırın. Google Analytics, reklam ve isteğe bağlı Play Games verileri ayrıca Google'ın ayarlarına ve silme kontrollerine tabidir. VocabCross hesabını silmek Google hesabınızı veya Google Play Games profilinizi silmez.
